The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in collaboration with the University Grants Commission (UGC) conducted the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December 2024 on 28th February, 1st, and 2nd March 2025.

Kindly Note:

  • There is no separate cut-off for Part A, B & C. The cumulative marks of all parts are considered for preparation of the merit list.
  • The result declaration date of the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December 2024 is 30/04/2025.
  • Ranks are allotted first to all successful candidates qualifying for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) as per the merit list. Subsequently, they are distributed between CSIR and UGC based on the pre-decided subject-wise fellowship ratio.
  • A minimum benchmark of 33% is applicable for General, EWS & OBC categories and 25% for SC/ST and PwD categories for all three categories (JRF, Assistant Professor, and Ph.D.).

CSIR NET 2025 Minimum Qualifying Marks
