Age Limit: Eligibility for CSIR NET JRF requires candidates to be under the age of 28. However, there are relaxations of up to 5 years for PwD/ST/SC/Third gender/Females and up to 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) applicants. There is no upper age limit for candidates applying for Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor positions.
